The Atlantic Canadian Organic Regional Network, ACORN, based in Sackville is an organization that works to connect and be a resource for all Atlantic Canadians interested in organic food and agriculture. Currently ACORN is offering free access to Part 1 of our recent Climate Change & Agriculture Webinar Series.
In Part 1 of this series, “Climate Resilience on Maritime Farms,” University of Oxford researcher Bernard Soubry talks about the latest climate change projections for the Maritime region and how those are likely to affect the food system. He reports back on the Climate Resilience on Maritime Farms research project, which has documented the impact of climate change on production in the Maritimes; and he offers ideas and insights from across the region on how to change practices and policy towards resilience and adaptation across the food system.
Bernard is a past RCE Tantramar volunteer and we are really proud of the work he is doing!
