The Annual Eco360 Environmental Awards program acknowledges outstanding environmental contributions by individuals, groups, organizations, institutions, businesses and municipalities for the positive impact they have had on the Southeast Region of New Brunswick. RCE Tantramar has been selected for one of the 2018 Environmental Awards based on the demonstration of exceptional commitment to environmental education to a wide range of students and members of the public across Southeastern NB. RCE Tantramar works with students at all of the elementary, middle and high schools in the region, as well as students from Mount Allison University. Outdoor environmental education programs have been developed at Salem Elementary and Marshview Middle, with Dorchester Consolidated School being the focus in the 2018-19 school year.
Here RCE Coordinator Michael Fox accepts the ECO 360 Environmental Award along with students from the Marshview Mighty Earth Warriors from Marshview Middle School and individual award winner Aimee Earle from Port Elgin Regional School.
