Local Education Centres

The Tantramar region is home to numerous groups contributing to education for sustainable development.   This education can be informal – learning about green homes while taking a walk down the street, non formal – participating in a community discussion about renewable energy, or formal – enrolling in a university course on regional adaptation to climate change.  The following locations, organizations, businesses, and projects contribute to regional sustainability as it relates to local food, social development, education, environmental appreciation and protection, economic development, and municipal governance.
